Yay, I got to go shopping today :) looked around the U Village for Valentine gifts for Dan. Ahhh, it was sooo great too, I got to go to Starbucks and get a grande Caramel Frappuccino and it was just SO good....mmmm, coffee. The walk back to Haggett was so short because of it, I was just so enjoying it, it's just been WAY WAY too long since I've had a good decent Starbucks. I really want to live somewhere where there is a Starbucks right around the corner. Not that I'm going to get addicted to it or anything, but it's just a good distraction. Caffeine is great! :D :D :D

Not much to say today, I went to bed at 3:30 AM because of Chemistry, which I got finished with the help of Dudley, who has all of the same classes as me. If any one wants to know how to make cardboard furniture, I made a PowerPoint presentation of the furniture that I made with my group and it has all the directions in it. Best viewed with Microsoft Office XP PowerPoint. How to Make A Modern Cardboard Table Enjoy ya'll! :)

Lord, send me anywhere; only go with me.

Lay any burden upon me; only sustain me.

And sever any tie that binds save the tie that binds me

To Thy heart and to Thy service.

:D Still functioning on 2 hours of sleep. I'm pretty sure I actually fell asleep in math class and that the caramel cappuccino that I had right before going to physics was the only reason I didn't completely zonk out during the physics lecture. Then, crazy me, I went to More Hall and helped do the Water Group experiment for 2 1/2 hours. Like this whole day, except when I've been in class, it's like I feel lightheaded and that something like sleep, rest, is something in the back of my mind but not exactly what I want. What I'd really like is to float in the middle of a nice hotish-warm pool.

Yup, I'm still up. Just a quick blog to say that yeah, I won the bet with Diane. And I'm still going to be up for another hour or two.

*Don't leave a formal lab report until the day before it's due to finish/start.*

Yeah, doing physics for the first half of the night didn't help either.

Am I a zombie?
I think not,
I have to work with my eyes open,
And my brain asleep.
Zombies,
At least they get to eat people.

:( finish Chemistry > sleep

It is really amazing how much Math 125 and Physics 121 are so closely parallel in material to each other. ;) makes it seem like almost 1/2 the work.

I am having a slight rise in my stress level due to the fact that my professor for the Sichuan MUSES Project is 'asking' (i.e. wrote in a mass e-mail) that I (by myself) am going to be re-presenting the final PowerPoint presentation that I gave along with 3 other people to a Dept. of Education guy who is a major factor in getting funding for the Sichuan Program. See, this wouldn't be half as bad if I had a day or two to prepare or something, but actually, I'm doing it at 1:30. Basically, I have to wing the slides that my other 3 partners did and remember what I said on my slides from last quarter. :D Too bad I threw out my ppt notecards... And I still have to eat and I have to go down to the More Building so I can get paperwork to sign up for a couple Independent Study credits with another prof for the research (more or less) that I'm doing for the Sichuan Water group. So yeah, I should get going. :)

Yo, everyone should check this out. HotBar Basically, you can change the top of the browser from that dull gray to something cool. And if you go to E-mail skins, it tells you how you can download this program that's an addon to Microsoft Outlook and then you can spiffy up your e-mails. I am just having way too much fun with it. :D

Fave of the moment: Pepperidge Farm Chocolate Chunk Milk Chocolate Chewy Caramel cookie zapped in the microwave for 20 seconds and enjoyed with milk.

Yeah, so I'm just getting to bed. My prayers go out to those on the Columbia that exploded yesterday morning and their families.

Crazy thing that happened while I was getting ready for bed...I walk into the bathroom and I see the quickly retreating backside of what looks suspiciously like a guy. Turns out two of the girls on the other side of the hall, they explained to me how they talk to these guys late at night and then come into the bathroom to have their 'bathroom party' and talk while they brush their teeth and that the guys felt left out. So this time, since it was like 1:30, they said that the guy could come along too, since there'd be no one there but if anyone comes in they'd have to leave. So the two girls, and this guy are brushing their teeth in the girls bathroom with the lights off. This is because one of the girls doesn't like having the light on (this is true, it's the second time I've walked in while they were doing their teeth and the lights have been off). :) It's not as bad as it sounds, they're quite nice girls, and the guy was kind of nerdy, I think he left so quickly because he was already freaked out to be in a girls' bathroom. I had a good laugh about it though.

I really liked yesterday's devotional reading.
