What an afternoon. I left the house at 1 o'clock and basically ran all over Kennewick and Richland doing errands and buying stuff. First I went to the bank, then to the mall where I bought a cute pair of pants at the Bon and got a Venti Caramel Frap at Starbucks...mmm, coffee is so good. Then I went to Target where I bought a cute pair of flip-flops, pink with stripes, and then I went into Richland, bought socks for David at Big 5, went to his school to see if they had any HW for him (because he's sick but lucky David, no HW) and then I went to the library and checked out three books for him to read, which are so interesting, that I wish I had the time to read them too. Then it was to Food Pav, and I bought Pepsi for my mom and I also bought some Girl Scout Cookies :D a box of Caramel Delifes and Thin Mints. Love those cookies. With the way Diane and I eat junk food up at UW, they'll be gone within two weeks. Maybe even one. Anyway, then I went to Wal-mart to get the oil changed in the car and I saw Bethany Samuelson and her mom and we chatted for about half an hour and it was good. OMG, I had the hardest time trying not to buy this absolutely cute straw purse. It was seriously SO CUTE. I'm still thinking about it right now actually....but I just bought a purse on Monday with Jamey....but it was only $2. This one is about $9. Hmmm. I bought some yellow chick Peeps though, the 15 count one :D, I bought the pink bunny ones with my mom on Thursday and I only have 2 left now, which will probably be gone by the end of the night. :) I'm a sap, I saved one actually for Dan. Yum yum sugary goodness. Sugar high what?

Whoa baby, so today, I went to Richland High and chatted with all of my teachers and gave them some of my mom's yummy egg rolls and then after that I went with Mrs. Rieck to lunch. I'm kind of all in a flutter right now because I called up Dr. Crystal Driver, a woman who I worked for over the summer at PNNL, to try to see if I could get a summer internship with her this summer and she said that she'd look into it but that she'd "love to have me" and that she'd give me a call when she can tell me something definite. AHHHH!!! That'd totally be the bomb, I'd be working under the same person as Dan and we'd be able to drive together there, and eat lunch together and just basically spend every single day of the summer together, much like last summer :) heh heh. I would seriously do anything to get this job, I'd scrub the floors with a toothbrush if it meant I would get to work out there. Man, it feels like I got a lot accomplished today! And YAY!!! I get to see Dan tomorrow! The only damper on this whole situation is that grades came out, and I checked them this morning and yeah, I did as bad as I thought I would in Chemistry, a little worse than I thought I would in Physics but I got pretty much the grade I expected to get in Math.

Oh please, oh please, oh please God let me get this summer internship...

:) Today has been somewhat productive, I got to hang out with Jamey, and we had a nice long discussion about everything. Best friends are hard to come by. We went to Value Village (a thriftstore) and she bought a pink shirt, and I bought two teal colored mugs, a small glass vase, and a shiny red clutch purse...much like what Dan's mom gave me but slightly bigger and a little bit different style. The glass vase is very cute and only about 46 cents, if there were more flowers in Seattle and I had the time to go out and pick flowers, I'd bring it with me, but it's probably not a good idea to go around and pick flowers from the UW campus. I guess I have to think about the public enjoyment of the flowers and not be selfish. Flowers really do make you feel much happier though, when I had the delias from Pike's Market during Early Fall Start in August, just having those flowers in my room made me miss home a lot less and just generally kept me in a good mood. They're just a piece of beauty that's even more beautiful because it's from nature and thus crafted by God.

I Love . Yum...

Awww, Dan's going back to WSU, but the good news is that I'm going up with him and his dad :). The bad news is that this means I'm going to miss Chinese Church and hanging out with everyone. I just finished making a goodbye card for Nancy Chen, a woman at my church who is moving to Cali. Even making this simple card took about an hour and a half. Don't even get me started on how long it took to make the thank you cards I made for Dan's family members for their cool Christmas gifts. I was already a few weeks late when I started making them and I probably got them all done about a week later, so they were probably about a month late lol. Wow, it seems like I've already had a nice vacation, but my spring break is actually just starting. :D An entire week of getting enough sleep, reading, getting good at DDR, and not thinking about grades.
