Today was Honors Croquet Day -- All Campus Tournament and I lost quite early on. But that's okay because I got my free t-shirt because I won the Motto Contest.
The front of the woman's style croquet shirtThe back of the shirt: Ingenio Maximus, Arte Rudis (Greatest in Genius, Rough in Skill)

Covetous eh? :) If you'd like your very own croquet shirt, just visit the Honors Croquet Site, and I'm sure you can e-mail someone about procuring one. They'll probably be ordering more sometime soon.

In other news, yeah! The AVE street fair is going on and it's going to be going on still tomorrow as well which is fantastic because I'm going to go and eat lunch there. Yum corn on the cob! I was there walking around with Peter, one of the sichuan students after the croquet match and explaining all sorts of stuff to him, then I went to their apts and a bunch of them were watching a typical Chinese series involving old style kung fu where the characters have weird long hair and fly around in the air beating each other up. I sat through 1 1/2 episodes before leaving then I went back to the AVE for dinner and had corn on the cob :) YUM! Now I guess I'll go do something productive for the rest of the night.

What a great way to kick off the weekend! I decided to sleep through my first 2 classes since I only got 2 hours the night before. Then I went to physics, then did water lab, which went well because for about 1/2 hour we went and looked at the Undergrad Research Poster Synop. and I saw a bunch of people I knew. I got to do a lot of the analyzing stuff by myself. Then I went and ate with Diane and Maxine, really quickly though because I had to go to UPC early and be greeter for The Gathering. Which was the campus-wide ministry praise/prayer night and it went fantastically! Lots of people came, God was glorified, and people were re-energized with the Holy Spirit :). And now I'm back here, kicking back and relaxing while doing laundry. Now that Dan's at home, he sends me e-mails, :( although I didn't get one yesterday....:) well I'm sure he still Loves me though. Ah, well, I think I'll cut this short and go play RO.

Whoa cool! Matt has a picture of Diane and me on his site. He was also at the Mariner's game and he had better seats than we did so we went and sat with him for a few innings. Diane looks like she's a homie. Matt Lin's Site

Well, I just finished voting. How exciting huh? Maybe I should go get a "I Voted!" sticker. Current in the MGH computing labs, couple more minutes until I have to head off to physics. Whoohooo, I LOVE my TA for Chem, he totally was direct and told us exactly how to do all of the questions that were worth the most on the quiz today. It felt good. I think I could have not studied at all and still do as well as I think I did. Bad thing though, I realized late last night that I didn't do the prelab #6. I e-mailed both people in charge, the prof and the lab prof and no one has e-mailed me back yet and I have lab tomorrow. What'll probably happen is that I'm just not going to get any of the points from there and lose about 15 pts straight off. I'm pretty sure that my TA is nice enough and he probably won't take off any more points. Sadness though! :( Tonight is going to be interesting, gotta do the chemistry formal lab, which is about 2% done so far, and that's going to take me a couple hours, then I have to go to the Space Grant Dinner that Nick forced Diane and I to sign up for, and then I have to study for the math quiz tomorrow which is probably going to kick my butt like it has been every week. It's all very much in the air. It's kind of amazing how incredible the five days between weekends are, they go by so fast because it's like I only get about six hours of sleep, then I have to work/eat the entire day, just busting my butt trying to get the bare minimum done and every now and then squeezing in some study time :P. Well, six more days til I register! Craziness, after physics, I'm going to go talk to an advisor about how to go about getting a double major. That should be interesting.

My eyes, my eyes!! I feel as if I have been assaulted visually. All over campus there are these hideous signs reminiscent of those around in November. No wonder it's so hard to find responsible, educated & informed citizens, we lose the desire in college at any mention of politics. Everywhere there are people passing out flyers and urging people to vote in the next few days. Eh, while I'm talking about it, might as well inform some people as well.

How to vote: On MYUW or click here
Why: Dunno, cuz you can?
Who: So far, I've come up with a few sites.
Frats&Sororities
Crazy students who want to do politics
Clean Cut MLK Jr. volunteers

When: May 13 beginning @ 8AM to May 15 at 5PM

Seriously, what it looks like to me, is that these 3 groups are going to battle it out. I think I'm going to vote for Team Fusion.

Now I'm at Odegaard Library, just finished doing the weekend physics online stuff. Yesterday was a total non-school day. Woke up at 12:45ish, ate something while making Alex a birthday card. It was a nice card I thought :). Then I took a shower and went and tried to get money out of my account, but since the day before I had tried too many wrong PIN #'s, it wouldn't let me get any money out, even though I found the right PIN #. :P Blah, so I had to buy food at Uwajimaya (a Japanese huge store) with my credit card. Then me and 11 other people walked to Safeco Stadium and watched a Mariner's game. It was against the Chicago White Sox. It was pretty fun, I bought a big foam finger (I'll put a picture of it up later), and Diane bought some cotton candy and I had binoculars so it was all good :). Ichiro hit a homer! That was pretty cool. They lost though, 4-3. We managed to lose Diane on the way back to the cars after the game, I was worried when we got out of the stadium and Alex and I waited right outside for a while, but it was impossible to find anyone in a crowd like that at night, so we ran and caught up with the rest of the group. We thought that she'd be with the other 3 guys, so we stood around in the parking lot waiting for them and when they showed up, "Oh, where's Diane?" "Huh? I thought she was with you!" "What?! She's not with you?" Dooh! Luckily we manged to call her on her cell and she made it back without being too tramatized. Then we went and bought cake at QFC for Alex and went to Pochie's to surprise him. The cake was pretty good. Then when we finally got back to the dorms, Alex showed me this online game that he's been playing which is a lot like UO. I'll put a link to it when I get back to my computer. It's pretty cool. My person's name is Yakatoad. :) Ya'll should check it out, you get to beat up pink blobs. Anyway, the graphics are pretty deec (decent). Called my mom and told her Happy Mother's Day too! Praise God for mothers, I love mine a lot. :)
