I am an Asian-American college student majoring in Technical Communications at the University of Washington. My Spring Quarter 05 Schedule: posTComm, TC 403, TC 407, ARCH 251, ESS 495.
All I need to do is find a PAID summer internship and I'm set!
Terrific. I'm at MGH working on my clit paper and the cool thing is that this computer has this superby large wide screen which makes it so I can look at two of my three pages at once.
Anyway, the sad thing is that after reading over Eve's comments on my paper and also meeting with the teacher to go over this paper, I think I'm about ready to come to the realization and conclusion that this is going to end up being one of those dramatically revised essays. I'm not trying to deny it anymore that I'm going to have to change my thesis but I'm not quite at the point where I'm ready to physically start doing it. *sigh* Writing is a painful birthing process. That just reminded me of this great quote which I shall paraphrase here since I can't actually get on my computer (I could if I knew the password....don't ask). "I don't really write so much as sit up holding the hand of a sick friend, hoping it'll get better." I'll reblog the quote when I get the chance. But yeah, that's what I'm feeling a lot of the time...I look at my writing, see that it's nearly terminally ill and just sit with it, smooth its hair, and desperately hope it'll get better. I can't edit like this. arg. I'm going to the honor's lounge where they have comfy chairs and reading. :P forget revamping, I'll do it later.

So why is it that whenever I have something important due the next day I find it vitally important to do all the little things first? Like I finally got A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius from the library today and read it in the Quad during my break and it was nice. Bumped into a surprisingly large number (3) of people that I normally have not seen for quite a while. It was cool. Hung out with Josh, had food and then I visited his apt, which is not too shabby at all, his apt-mate Colin has a tank of fish and there were two dead ones in it...one was pretty much just the remainder of a fish. It was sad. Josh talked me into watching American Pie, which I think is still a movie that's pretty much all about sex. They tried to throw some kind of a plot into it, and it might have worked if the hot guys could act when all they're trying to do is get laid. Hormones + Guys = Dumbass ^ Stupidity
However, it was an interesting movie and I'm curious to watch the rest of the series. :)

Yes, blogging has been few and far between. But anyway, I want more lunch dates! If you can or do eat lunch after 12:30, hit me up! I'd love to do ya ;). The last couple days have been mostly a sleep-deprived haze. I had some fun times Thursday night at a toga party, then my parents and brother came up to visit Friday afternoon and I went with them to stay at the DoubleTree Hotel by the airport so it'd be more convenient to leave in the morning. Unfortunately, we all woke up really late and my dad and brother had to be at the Seattle University for a John Hopkins U. Conference type thing at 8:30 and we physically left the hotel around then. Got there at nine and they managed to register for all the classes they wanted and it was all good. My mom and I went to get gas after we dropped them off and then walked a block to a Starbucks and had some really delish coffee (I had a caramel macchiato and my mom had a white chocolate mocha) and breakfast (coffee cake and scone). I drove from there How How, a chinese supermarket, then we went to Mt. Vernon to look at tulips...pictures will be forth coming soon. It was very pretty and we got to write in a cart pulled by two horses all the way around the tulip fields and then we took half an hour and walked the same route and took pictures. And I got a super pretty and cute wooden tulip pen. Functional and beautiful, :) my kind of efficiency. Then I drove back to drop off my mom at How How again because she forgot to buy some stuff and went to pick up my dad and bro. Then the whole fam went to the 99 Ranch Market (the brand spankin' new one) and my mom and I spent pretty much 2 hours there. I had them drop me back off at UW and they went to the Bellevue Mall, while I'm sad that I didn't go with them there and buy cool things, I had a good night, interesting no doubt. And other than that, I've basically been churning out drafts like anything. Wrote my advertisement draft for my Comp Lit class on Sunday, and today I shall be pounding out a draft of the pseudo-research paper for TC. Drafts are really super good because it doesn't matter if you pull something out of your butt (as Craig would like to say), because they're supposed to be crappy! Oh yeah, the PowerPoint presentation that I did on Monday went alright, I was totally cold sweating it though because I couldn't get the projector to get input from the lappy...it was sad, I ended up just doing it on the laptop. If I had had more time, I would have messed around with it some more, but it was good enough. Hopefully I'll just some extra points for the effort :). Man, lugging those things around suck, I'm super glad I know cool people who are willing to help me carry them back to the basement of Kane. Hm, I can't find any good pictures to add to my screensaver or to change on the blog. Oh well, I should get back to that report...
