I am an Asian-American college student majoring in Technical Communications at the University of Washington. My Spring Quarter 05 Schedule: posTComm, TC 403, TC 407, ARCH 251, ESS 495.
All I need to do is find a PAID summer internship and I'm set!
Busy busy day. As usual. Got pretty close to 8 hours of sleep for once!! Feel like I'm a crack addict, slowly falling into little pieces. Anyway, so I had dance in the morning, then a two hour break where I edited pictures and had cup of noodles. Went to ME, then hung around the room for a bit, watched an episode of Naruto with David and spoke extensively with him about politics, Iraq, Armed Forces and other items related to such stuff. It was very educating. Then I spent a good 3 hours in Odie working on the TC instructions with my group. How to Jump-Start a Car. Manuals can be ordered for a mere $5 starting Monday. Anyway, then Zach and I went to the BurgerHut and got burgers and ate them on the way to Large Group, they were good burgers, I had a BBQ one and he had a mushroom one. Yum. LG got over at 11ish, then Diane, Zach and I popped over to Christine's room where they were having a little party and chilled for a bit (mostly because we all thought they were going to tell us something important...which wasn't the case so we did the polite thing, threw out the obligatory "it's me, not you" statment), then we left. Thought up a few arguments/evidences for my Comp Lit paper, and I think I'll try to study some TC then do some more crashing which involves snoring because I'm sick. And apparently I snore loudly when I'm sick. Go figure, I draw attention to myself all day long by coughing, then at night too.

Watched a couple Naruto episodes and 5 episodes of the Simpsons because I've been kind of trying to find a thesis for this paper that I have to write...and the pre-rough draft draft has to be written tonight, a 5 page brain fart. However, I have to finish ME first, which shouldn't be too bad since I only have the drawing left, but it's the worst part and I miss all my points there. Suckiest part of the class. I know I complain about that stupid class a lot, mostly because I'm disappointed that it's not as easy and fun as everyone has been raving about. Grrr.
Monday night was really fun though, I got some good passionate crazed poetry writing in. I went to Trabant, this cool chai place and had a raspberry & cream chai and sat in the back listening to people sing, scream and read and I tried reading HeartBreaking Work for a while but was too emotionally unstable to get very far before the urge to just scratch out words took over. Wrote a couple pages in the DoubleTree notepad that I brought along because I knew I was going to write something. And usually when I write something, it comes out in almost indecipherable poetry. It was amazing though. I'm going to go type it so I don't lose the random scraps of paper and then finish that damn ME. Then I can get started on that brain fart. Fun times really.

Hola bonito chicos y chicas! Soy muy tarde en Blogging ;). Me disculpo.
So I've been really busy lately, going places, seeing things, and every once in a while getting some work done ;).
Wednesday I hung out with this guy Mike that I met about two weeks ago, we went to that new Mexican resturant on the AVE and had big huge fat burritos. Then we proceeded to walk around for about an hour or so until the movie that I wanted to see started. It was called "Goodbye, Lenin" I didn't know it was going to be subtitled, the entire movie was in german, which was pretty tite. Then I hung out with Ben and talked to him for a good hour or so and got to play F-Zero GX on the Cube, nice graphics on that, and I was having a good gaming day so I got in second. Thursday I watched a bunch of Naruto episodes and then met with my TC group to work on our instructions manual of "How to Jump-Start Your Car" at Odie and didn't get out until like 8 then I watched "Princess Mononoke". Then on Friday, I watched more Naruto, then went to the IMA with Michael and kicked his ass at racquetball, and with an injury at that! Like literally two minutes into warming up by hitting the ball around Michael manages to freaking whale the ball towards me and it hit me in the thigh right above my knee. No bruise because I made him kiss it all better, but it certainly stung. We spent most of the time chatting then toured the IMA and tried out like 15 machines, I couldn't get him to demonstrate this rowing machine but it was funny walking around and making fun of the expressions people had while lifting free weights, it's even more funny because they're staring at themselves in the wall to wall mirrors. Had food at WorldWraps then we went to the music building (thanks to Rachel for letting us use her key!). Michael must have tried out at least five or six of the pianos and it was hilarious, every time he'd mess up he'd say shit! and it was just funny because of the contrast between that and the classical/jazzy music. Then we watched the brand new WongFu Productions' music vid. Then Michael went home and I watched another Naruto. Saturday rolls around, woke up super early (i.e. 9:30 AM) and went to Chinatown with Zach. Got some superbly cute stickers and some coffee drinks and box tea drinks, and Zach bought his Battle Royale book. Then we walked all the way from Uwajimaya to Hau Hau...which is at least five blocks so Zach could buy his drinks. Then we hauled all this stuff to Honey Court Resturant where we had some really delish dim sum. Went back to UW, dropped off the stuff and took the bus downtown and walked around Pike's Market, I had this huge craving for something peach, and decided that a peach pie would be really nice so we wandered around for a bit and actually found a little coffee shop that had peach pie and Zach had wanted coffee so we both got what we wanted. It was an extremely happy moment. MMM, it was super good. I went to one of my TC group partner's house and took pictures of the cars for the instructions manual which didn't even take an hour, then I typed up a response for my Comp Lit class and went and hung out with Aimee and Zach. Got to read a bit in my book too and I requested George Orwell's Animal Farm from Eastern Washington U. Which brings us finally to today. All I've done so far today was do laundry. Hopefully I'll get started on ME...or not and just watch some more Naruto :). Ahhhh, gotta get that poster for the UnderGrad Research Symposium done some time soon!
