Yay! I'm finally all done with Fall Quarter 04. LOL, so I checked my blog for the sole purpose of finding out if ANYONE has read my last post and congrats-ed me on it but nooo...:( no comments. However, I noticed that there was one more comment on my digital gaming post and *surprise* it's from this guy that will be in my class! Of course, I am horribly curious and went to his livejournal and snooped around and finally found a picture of the guy. *note* If you're reading this, I'm a totally cool person :) and NOT a stalker. Anyway, that was interesting. And, it was the third time in about a day or two that I've seen someone comment on the Japanese "lap" pillow. Zach looked at the news page on MSN about it, David xangaed it, and now this guy Ario has it in his profile. Very very strange. According to Ario, the first assignment is on Atari's Adventure game and that we're going to go into Everquest eventually and maybe even DDR. I have NO idea how to play the Atari game. I'm pretty sure I owned one at some point in my life, but just not that game. How the heck do I open 'doors'? What is a door? What's that black magnet looking thing? Why do the dragons look like ducks ;)? Yeah...much to learn.

Although I have no more school stuff to do really...I'm still procrastinating, right now I'm procrastinating doing laundry and packing. Slava's supposed to come around 5ish and lend me his beast to move all my crap. Yeah ok, I'd better get my ass moving.

Here is a picture of my new house that I'll be living in. I was going to put up some more pictures that I took of it, but I plan to do some kind of housewarming party thing eventually, either after break, or after my parents bring up some furniture. So yeah! Change your address books kiddies (ask me for the address if you want it).

The Very Special Announcement

I tried out for the Vagina Monologues and I got a part!
It's a 12 woman cast, performed in the HUB, Feb 9, 10, & 11. Time: TBA

I thought about not announcing this. The thing is, of course, that this is a controversial play and potentially offensive, shocking, has homosexual elements, etc. etc.
BUT
it is about women. Their struggles, triumphs, joys and sorrows. It is about women of all kinds. And there is a lot of information in this play that men and women don't know about or have never thought to ask. It's true, for most people, vaginas, periods, clits, etc. are not exactly daily topics and are somewhat uncomfortable to mention. Think of it as your guilty indulgence.

But please, don't come and see it just because I'm going to be in it. I don't want to be your scapegoat if you hate it. But how can you hate something as beautiful as a vagina ;)? 90+% of you will/have come in contact with one.
